iPET Network Level 3 Certificate in Dog Grooming and Introduction to Styling - 15 days: £2749

This NEW qualification is delivered over 15 days in our school with practical and theoretical elements (with additional theory work to be completed at home).

During the course you will groom a minimum of 10 dogs covering 6 different breeds but often many more.  There are no pre-requisites to starting the course, meaning you can join at level 3 without having completed a lower level (level 2) course first.

No previous experience is required! Once you have gained this qualification, you can continue your studies and move onto the iPET Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management and gain your 'Fully Qualified Dog Groomer' status.

On this course, you will be trained in practical skills such as prepping, bathing, scissoring, clipping and nail trimming.

Units included within this qualification are:

301: Health and Safety in a Dog Grooming Environment 

302: Promote the Welfare of Dogs conforming with Relevant Legislation

304: Assess and Plan Dog Grooming Styles and Maintenance of Equipment

305: Health Checking, Handling and Canine Behaviour

317: Prepare, Style and Finish a Selection of Dog Breeds

You will be continually assessed via practical demonstration and coursework meaning you don’t have to sit a daunting exam in order to achieve the qualification.
